Another young player for Canadian basketball fans to be enthused about, Olynyk would be something of a surprise inclusion in the team and would most likely only see a handful of minutes off the bench.

Olynyk has been reflecting on a first season in the NCAA with Gonzaga and will be hoping to be included with team mate Rob Sacre.

He had a steady campaign with 4 points and 3 rebounds per game.

For a big guy, Olynyk has decent ball handling skills and is comfortable either facing up to the hoop or playing with his back to the basket.

He is also a great team player and enjoys hustling for the ball – this young forwards attitude and commitment would be a good influence in and around the Canadian camp.
