Coach Tlatli is repeating that Salah has to understand that all the team is putting pressure on him because of his 2.16m frame and he has to cope with it.

Primarily, he must solve his foul problems.

He was given his first cap at the All Africa Games played in Algeria.

He saw action in only one of Tunisia’s five games, taking to the court against South Africa in the last game of the group round.

He recorded one basket and two fouls in six minutes in an 82-68 loss.

In 2008, in Sousse, the home court of Etoile Sportive Sahel, he played in the final round of the FIBA Africa Club Championship.

He captured the silver medal behind Angola’s best club of Primero de Agosto.

His 4.0 rebounds in 14 minutes was very promising.

At the FIBA Africa Championship in 2009, he confirmed the great hopes and showed good things with a record of 9 rebounds against Mali in the quarter-final.

Just before last summer’s FIBA Africa Championship, he decided to sign a new contract with Etoile Sportive Sahel for three years.
